Marvel Studios Rumored To Be Eyeing GRAVITY Director For AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

Surprisingly, it has been four years since our last visit to the theaters to enjoy an Avengers film. Regrettably, we'll have to wait a bit longer to witness the Earth's Mightiest Heroes reunite on the big screen, as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty has been delayed until May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.

These delays are attributed to the ongoing WGA strike, but it's also apparent that Marvel Studios intends to take its time with future projects, a significant departure from Phase 4. Previously reported, both of these movies are expected to bid farewell to the original six Avengers, and rumors even suggest that Secret Wars might set the stage for a soft reboot, serving as a send-off not just for the Fox-Verse but for the beloved MCU as we know it.

This transition is likely to lead us into an "All-New, All-Different MCU," potentially guided by a new Sacred Timeline. Additionally, there have been recent rumors circulating about the departures of Jeff Loveness (Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania) and Michael Waldron (WandaVision) from their respective Avengers projects.

Daniel Richtman reports that Alfonso Cuarón, the renowned director behind films like Children of Men and Roma, is currently a top contender on Marvel Studios' list to helm what could potentially become the MCU's most significant production yet.

While Cuarón might seem like an unexpected choice, it's worth noting that he's no stranger to directing commercially successful films, having previously directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for Warner Bros.

Cuarón is celebrated for his signature lengthy and groundbreaking tracking shots, fueling anticipation that he could create something truly exceptional if he envisions directing a Secret Wars film for Marvel.

As always, it's wise to approach this news with caution until it's confirmed by reliable sources.

Meanwhile, the buzz surrounding the Fantastic Four has slowed down (with indications that Jake Gyllenhaal's involvement might be accurate, but rumors of Matt Shakman's departure are not valid). Consequently, "scoopers" are shifting their attention towards The Avengers franchise.

Avengers Endgame Star Defends Character’s Death

In spite of the fact that Avengers Endgame was an exciting finish to a ten-year experience, it was additionally loaded up with misfortune. The Marvel Cinematic Universe brought its first universe-finishing occasion to its decision with Thanos (Josh Brolin) being brought somewhere around the Avengers unequivocally. En route, in any case, the world mightiest saints lost a couple of contenders, including Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and an enthusiastic exit from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) – however one of most tragic character passings came from of Black Widow (Johansson).

Dark Widow and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) returned on schedule with the remainder of the group and went to Vormir to gather the Soul Stone.

Shockingly, no one appeared to disclose to them that a penance was needed to recover the Soul Stone, which means one of them needed to bite the dust.

After a merciless tussle between companions, Black Widow in the long run hurled herself off the bluffs of Vormir, committing suicide, however getting the Soul Stone all the while.

Numerous fans were somewhat annoyed by this occasion, however Johansson has guarded it.
